It has been one year since Super Storm Sandy. What do you remember about the storm? What did you do while we were not in school? How long were you without power? etc
I remember the storm like it was yesterday. I remember how cold and depressing it was. We took a drive around all of smithtown the day after and we were so thankful that our house didn't get seriously damaged. People had trees that fell and completely destroyed their houses. Finally after about five days, we got a cheap generator just to power the fridge and a small electric heater. I went 11 days without having power and it was the worst experience ever.
